Christmas 2021
Every year we find it very important to close the school year and wish all leaving kids good luck in their further endeavours by celebrating Christmas with presents, food, drinks and games, since most of the children here (especially in villages like Bulunga) are not familiar with such celebrations and have never receive presents at home.
Some words from the school director about the day:
"Kids knew it was a closing day: rise, drinks... so some of them came already around 6 am! Even the kids from the public school came around to see and be a part of it. Our kids were super confident and happy: the breakfast, the football match, the lunch and afternoon stories, the gifts... we realy enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. Kids were excited all day long! When the day was over nobody wanted to go home and the ones going to class one were crying and wanting to stay here with us. We live as a family here, so it was a sad day for me as well. I miss them already. Thanks you all, this is really big for us." Al Kabellerge

SPORTS WEAR DONATION
Before Christmas 2020 our school won a charity competition among more than 20 other projects and received 500 Euro from an engineering office with headquarters in Oldenburg, Germany called Ingenieurgesellschaft Nordwest mbH.
We are more than happy to annouce that we used the money to order sports wear for our kids! The excitement was huge, the smiles were big and the noice was laut :)

"It was rainy out here today, but man, kids knew it was presents day 😀! This whole present thing is big, really big! Even those kids, who do not laugh, they smiled 💪! They were so happy and they send much thanks, hugs and lots of kisses to everyone that made our day great and complete!"
